All Avery "A" tractors the numbers are on right rail behind brake pedals.Except alot of these have had welding done on rails which is not good on numbers. If you find numbers I have list too tell you the year model.Lots of luck on this P Luna

All the Avery "A" tractors I have seen have the serial number stamped in the right hand frame rail close to the back by the brake petal.

On the Vs, the serial # is stamped into the righthand frame rail in the area of the bellhousing. Could be your A is the same location.
