KTA oil filter

I have a 1934 KTA with a leaking oil filter housing. The housing has been badly repaired in the past and will not seal properly, if I can get the internal tube replaced it will seal much better.
I was wondering if this is the exact same oil filter used on the later "U" models? As I have observed many at shows that look similar on the outside but of course I can't see the inner workings

Charlie Doty (in Princeton IL? I don't have his #) Could tell you for sure. Another person that would know is Wendell Everett 740-922-3335.

I did use a filter housing off an early U with KEF engine to replace a cracked housing on a later 283-4A engine. The internal details were a bit different but it worked.
