Shifter fork has jumped the rail. Anybody know a good way to get inside the cover ?

Disbo,remove the 8 bolts and the shift plate can be removed without frame rail being pulled loose,things are tight but I have done this.If you want more room remove the four bolts out of rail at the back and the two from rear of torque tube and this will give you more space too work. Hope this helps P.Luna

Yes, frame rail blocks access to cover and it looks like the tractor has to be dismantled to get the frame off. Just hoping someone has found an easier way. Thanks

Are you saying the frame rail is so close you can't remove the cover?

I've never had one of those transmissions apart, but in the repair manual it looks like the shift rails are on the cover, if that helps.
