Will 4206 heads work on g1000 diesel jugs without problems? Do all the water passages line up?

Gas head has 9 head bolts and the diesel has 12 dont look like they will line up.

The 7 bolts are in the same position gas or diesel. The diesel has 5 more smaller studs screwed into the top deck of the block. You can use a diesel block on a gas but not a gas block on a diesel. Unless you are brave enough to drill and tap the holes in the top of the block. (have seen this done on late blocks) Not recomended.

Most likey you will have to verify the water holes linging up. You dont want to bore the diesel blocks real big they have a tendency to crack into the stud hole between the cyl if you go over 4.75. I have several gas blocks i would trade for the diesel ones if you are interested.

I was wanting to bore the diesel blocks to 4.75 + .060.

I would use the Gas blocks. The diesel blocks get weak at that bore size because of the stud that is threaded right between the bores. Besides good diesel blocks that are boreable are harder to find than gas blocks. Were are you located maybe we can do some swapping of blocks.
I have a pair of M5 blocks that are already 4.75 bore so you would only have to bore them another .060 which will be cheaper than boring out std or slightly oversize blocks.
