My M5 rear end broke under the right axle on the bottom of the case & a big chunk is gone. Don't know how that happened. Have not used machine much since purchased, maybe 2 hours. Any one around st. louis have an m5 rear end with 3 point? Or what will work? Thanks

Junkman, I'm in NE Illinois, have an early one. I don't have it home yet but it has 3 point and internal plumbing. Going out of town for a week, will get it home when I get back, if you haven't found anything, send me an email. Thanks, John

The early M5 had the same rear end as the 5 Star with the internally piped hydraulics. The later M5s had the same rearend as the 602s. I believe you can even make the 670 rearends work as well.

If it has the internally plumbed system, there will be a single small (1/2 dia) line exiting the pump to the rhs of tractor. The external systems has two large lines and one small line coming from the pump.
