Rebuilding my u from bottom to top.Runs on lp and everything looks great in the engine department.
Going but new rings rod bearings and mains should I have the rocker arms checked or rebuilt.
I want to keep using it for antique tractor pulls and light farm work.

Have them hot tanked, or soak the rockers in paint thinner.

At least remove the plugs and clean them out. They sometimes accumulate so much goop they don't flow any oil.

I don't know an easy way to clean. I just remove the rockers, stands springs etc. (you want to assemble the parts in the same order.) Then I always had to drive one plug completely through and goop always sprays out all the holes.
