Hi guys. as a Case man this is a new brand for me....about a month ago a friend let me take his "Z" out to a threshing bee and ever since I have realized why everyone who owns a M-M loves them so much!

Well I found a "ZTU" which is complete but stuck, the tin is great and it really only needs new rear tires... problem is I don"t know a darn thing about M-M"s.... especially finding parts for them!

I work at a machine shop so rebuilding the motor isn"t a problem at all, I just don"t know where I should look for engine parts....a relative who has most of my great grandfathers twin cities has some new in box M&W piston kits but I can"t identify the kits or the motor

Any help would be great and one last question, is it worth the time and money?

Go over to minneapolis-moline.com and find lots of parts vendors and check out the publications section for MM magazines too.

Hey Gary i think any MM is very collectable, don't think they have made many lately, Ha! The ones with good sheet metal are real keepers. Anyone that loves Case surely would love Minnemos, they have so much in common. One of these days people are are going to be wide awake ane the prices of both MMs and Cases will go through the roof just like Mopar muscle cars. My $00.02 worth, Harry Case, Allis ,Moline nut

They"re just like case. There are parts and supply but not as common as Deere, etc. There are people who specialize in them. The Z series was one of the most common. Most engine parts, gaskets, barings can be obtained. The harder items would be castings, and sheet metal. As a down side, in the past, they do not command the value of some of the other makes, even restored. BUT IF YOU ARE A CASE OWNER, THERE IS ONLY ONE DIRECTION YOU CAN GO...AND THAT IS UP TO MM.

Sure it's worth it, I grew up on a ZA.
Try these guys, they have a good supply of MM parts. Great people to deal with too.

I grew up on a ZA too. 1950 model. It was my dads, and we still have it. My first MM was a 1952 ZAU. I restored it in 1986 and I still use it. All MMs are worth it. Ive seen some scrapped out for parts that looked real good. Eventually there will be a pile of parts but no tractors to put them on...
