I was told by my hydraulic rebuilder that it wouls cost over $1,800.00 to rebuild the pump...Is this a little high?

I put the entire roating group in mine and resealed it all and it was around 400-500bucks. It all depends on where you get the parts. I didn't have to replace the end plate on mine, but I think you could get one used from some MM parts people. The pumping pistons in mine were worn so bad the shoes were going to fall off inside. Are you around central IL? If so you could deal with ACME in Decatur, thats who I dealt with. Great people!

Good luck finding a new pump. What do you need? I got a 950 this spring tthat needed a rebuild and I was able to get alot of parts from a local hyd repair shop. I think they are a Vickers MPVB pump they told me that they were used in alot of old trackmobiles. They were able to get most all parts alot cheaper than AGCO. I think they just can't get the end plate, supposedly it is MM special. Overall the pump was easy to rebuild, did it myself. Works good now.

Is this the Vickersd Piston pump? If so I hsve repaired some 55 series Olivers using Moline kits. The complete pumps will not interchange. Let me know by Tuesday as I am out of town. J.

Hey jetstardiesel
Vickers pumps are used for class 9 heavy duty trucks, you may want to try your local truck dealer. Hope you find one. I have some vickers manuals,I can look up some info for you.
