Difference between UTS and Red nose uts

I just ordered a manifold from a guy that has a Red Nose UTS, Is there any difference between the regular UTS and a red nose? He said that it was a 2pc and that is what I am looking for. Do they both have the 283 A4 enginges or is the nose all that is different? thanks for any help.

Early red nose used KEC motor. It has babbitted bearings. In 41 KEF motor replaced KEC and had precision bearings. In 47-48 the single block motor was replaced with the twin block 283. All manifolds were interchangeable except KEC had different size carb. The throat on the manifold is larger.

depending on the year of your UTS they could have different engines in them The red nose will for sure be a single head motor and yours could be either a single or a two head motor the manifold might work either way but will definatly work if yours is a single head.
