Found 2 tractors that are same. One tag reads 18900479 motor number 11401395. The other one reads 11401373 on the motor and no tag on tranny. They appear to be 5 Star universals but numbers don't match.

Brought it home today. Serial tag says it is a M5.But to me it is a plain 5 star. Has teleflo and some kind of add on power steering. Also has PSB pump. Will post pix tomorrow.

I checked my Lloyd Mccray list - Both Engines come back as 1959 D336 diesel for 5 Star tractor - 189 series for tractor comes back as M5 Gasoline Modified Tractor with 336-4 engine (pkg 48) - don't know what to say other than recheck tractor tag - are you sure its correct rear end

The 114 motor numbers correspond with a D-336 motor for the 5Star diesel tractors, however the 189 number corresponds with a "M5 Modified Tractor, Package #48 (Gasoline) B/M995 336-" according to the data listed on Tony's site. Can you post a picture?
