I saw one sell at auction in Canada a couple weeks back for $1900. It was in good running condition with 3PT, and only needed some very minor work.

The highest price i've seen to date is $11 500 Canadian for a 1974 2270 with the external oil pump, new paint, 23.1x34 tires and a cab. There are under 2000 hrs on the rebuild engine that was actually done at the White motor plant in Brantford ON and has a tag attached to the block to proove it. I have a 1973 2270 with a white stripe, open station with fuel tank fenders and completely rebuilt engine. Looks better than factory but there is about $16000 tied up in it. All in all plan to spend at least $5000 if the engine is tired. I would hate to pay anymore than $6500-7500 U.S. for a running one.

Hope this gives you a rough idea as to what they are worth and what it may cost to get one back to prestine condition.

Gary.
