how can I tell what model tractor I have when the serial tag is rusted away? On the side of the tractor it has a JT 2100 on the case and it looks like a R hood Older one with the slated side panels and it has cut off flat steel wheels with a 5 speed and a hand clutch. I would have to think it would be a JT or a ZT but what year or model i don't know for sure and how to tell that with out a tag. I'll take a picture of it Tuesday and put it on here.

I would think the JT2100 would be the transmission case casting number for a ZT. Probably the transmission case casting number for a JT would be just JT100. You probably are looking at a ZT.
