I need a good plan to make some real hp out of a 283, im pretty new to hot stock and need a little help. any info would be apreaciated! Thanks

this is a turbo engine 548 cubes 315 hp with g - crank hd 800 cylinder blocks with g-1000 heads highly modified can run high as 4 - gear clutch will not take higher gear WAS ALWAYS TOLD A UB DEISAL WILL NOT MAKE ANY POWER WRONG

You could squeeze maybe 65 horses out of a 283 bored to 300 or put M5 blocks on and get maybe 85 with good M670 heads. With an offset G crank and M5 blocks, maybe 120 ponies at 447 cubes. What is hot stock? Looking normal?

You can build as much as your pocket book will allow. Anything from 440 cid to 800cid. Just have to decide how big you want and how much you want to spend.

well i dont want to spend all of my pay check but dont mind putting togehter a quality tractor, i know i must spend a bit but looking for a solid going to last a few years hot tractor

Get M5 336 blocks or install a 403 power unit. The cheapest h.p. money can buy. Our UB is a bored out G running 100 h.p. Less than $2000 in the whole tractor!
