Thanks for the Comments.. A guy close by thinks he might have a set of Linings for me so I will have to see how that works out... I work as a Mechanic at a car dealership and I got the Drums chucked up in our Brake lathe and got em cut straight and smooth... So Hope by the weekend I will have some parts so i can get a Riveting and get er done... I also need to take the tie rod off the front and figure out how to get the ends tightened up.. The 24th of August is coming fast for me LOL...
Thanks Again

Make sure the brake drums are sanded smooth inside before reassembling. If they are not smooth they will have a tendency to grab and lock up the wheel. I sanded mine smooth by using a sanding drum in the drill press.

a brake linings specialist:

brake & equipment
455 Harrison st (ne?)
minneapolis mn

all i can remember of their address off the top of my head. they have a shop and a warehouse. they do lots of custom brake work with linings and hydraulic parts, and also stock lots of automotive pieces. i dont believe you need to be a jobber to deal with them

employed by a jobber that deals with them.

Randy - After the linings wore out/disintigrated on my UTU, I took the old shoes to the local truck clutch/brake shop. For $45 they stripped, repainted and bonded new linings onto the old shoes.

The brakes now work great!

Your best bet is to call Welters 417-498-6496 or Wendell Everett 740-922-3335 and get them to send you some linings. They are probably still available from AGCO if you have a dealer close by, too.
