I have a chance to buy a Minneapolis Moline super jetstar 3 with a loader, and 3 point. It runs beautifully, starts right up,most of the sheet metal is straight, just the front of the hood needs to be repaired but looks easy.Front tires are in great shape, rears are ok,but will need replaced.PTO works perfect, ampli torc is a little weak in lo,but works great in high. The guy who owns it says make an offer.I thought about offering $1000.Is that too much to offer,or not enough? Thanks for any advice you guys may have.

I still say a thousand is cheap and remember the hydraulics on these older tractors are not as fast as the new tractors I am sure if You bought it for $1000 you could easily double your money and not even touch it.

The loader isnt perfect, but it is fair. The hydraulics are slower than it should be.I think it wither needs the fluid and filter changed or the hydraulics could be wore out. It is a gas engine. It is locatd in northwest indiana.

1000 sounds a little cheap, i would think no less than 1500 if is a good as you make it sound 2000 would be more like it. I tried to get a Jet 3 with a stuck motor for 1000 and couldn't. so 1500-1800 for the tractor, but you didn't mention how good the loader was so if it works good mabey 18-2200 for the rig.
