Hey guys, Does anyone out there have a fully and correctly restored 50 zau? If so could I arrange to get some pics of it to go by as far as decals and etc?

Hey there, hows the U coming? Ive got pics of mine I can send you. Its going on 21 years ago that I restored it. The 1949s used a red and black MINNEAPOLIS-MOLINE on the hood, and a MM (modern machinery decal) on the fuel tank, The 1950's used the (MM)MINNEAPOLIS-MOLINE Z on the hood (reads that way on either side---Z following the Minneapolis-Moline). Back of double cushion seat had a MM ( modern machinery decal ) on it, 4" by 6" I believe, Donaldson air cleaner decal just above the cup, and a SAFETY FIRST decal on the pto shield. I dont think they came with the starting caution decal on the gasoline tank (above the instrument panel)until 52 or 53.I know some people have had some that the letter was up by the radiator on both sides from the factory but as far as company literature, it was intended to follow the company name.

Hey!Been a while. Good to hear from you. The U is coming along slowly but surely.Bought the biggest set of pistons that welters sells. But she is coming along. Got anything interesting for sale up your way? And yes some pics would breatly be appreciated. Thanks again Alan.
