Hi Guys
I am visiting Canada right now and have tried to get prices and availability on piston rings and pistons for a MF 95 super and 97 through local MF Agco dealers but they tell me these are no longer available. Some suggestions that I may be able to get from some aftermarket suppliers but dont know who. Any ideas? Some guys have also been telling me that you can get some high compression heads for these engines off irrigation units which greatly boost power. Is this correct.
Thanks for now.
Bill

I have MF pistons 835569M91. Two sets of pistons with 6 pistons in each set. One set is marked 10F after the part#. These are NOS parts. I don't have the MF parts book for these; maybe someone here could tell if these are for gas, diesel or LP and if standard or oversize. Thank you in advance. Phone 218-924-4044

A stock MF 95 should have a MM 425 engine in it and stock MF 97 a MM 504 engine same 504 as used in MM G704,G705,G706 & G707. Propane heads used on MM tractors or irrigation engines will change compression. Maybe someone will chime in giving you the link to the MM head listings.

I think we have 2 sets of new pistons for a Massey Ferguson 95. I'll check tomorrow to see what size they are and if we have the rings. Email is open and I'll post a phone # when I get the piston size info. I am in central Minnesota.

the Massey 95 and 97 had corresponding MM models, as they were MM tractors with Massey sheet metal.

(Your parts guys may not have been born then.)

I don't know which MM models are the same, but if you search this forum you should be able to find out.

Also, calling these guys would not hurt: Welters in Missouri 417-498-6496, and Wendell Everett in ohio 740-922-3335. Wendell will usually answer his phone 9:00-5:00 eastern time, Welters is 8:00-5:00 central time. On weekdays, of course.
