Last night I got my first MM, an M5 diesel. It is a pretty ugly old horse as the original rad was replaced with one from a Ford truck. I will need a new rad. I stacked a lot of bales behind this one. It has the RM pump and was recently rebuilt. I ran good until last year when it blew a head gasket. The owner wanted a gas tractor to run in the winter so I picked up this one.
MM are not too common in the UP but I have always liked them. Around here it is all JD, Ford, IH or Case.
I am in the Escanaba area and will need to find some parts. The Labor day show in town is featuring MM and I might want to bring this one.

Congratulations on your first MM. There are several guys on here that live in MI. Parts for a M5 should not be hard to find. Lots are still in the field. If you can't find a radiator and gaskets locally, check with Welters in MO 417-498-6496 or Wendell Everett in OH 740-922-3335.

I guess there is no chance the old 'rad' is laying around somewhere. It would be best to have it re-cored, that way you would have a good-for-the-next 40 years radiator. But with copper at $2 a pound. . .well, it Doesn't hurt to ask.
