Rats.. my universal translator is not functioning. Let me see what I can glean from your post...

1, You have or are working on a jet star 3

2, there is a grease fitting on the water pump

3, water does not circulate

4, manual shows no thermostat

Ok.. so.. now what.. are you asking a question here? Help us help you...What data are you fishing for?

The jetstar3 water pump is not supposed to have a grease fitting. The bearing is a sealed unit and is not greaseable. That would lead me to think it is either plugging a water hole or else you have some other engine in the tractor. Last senario is your pump was repaired with oddball parts and now it DOES require greasing occasionally.

I think you asked where the thermostat was. It is or was in the upper radiator hose. Try squeezing the hose to find it. It is just a round plug type affair with a thermostat in the center.
