I just bought a running original condition G707 Lp. I was wondering what comments you MM guru's have about this model of tractor. I understand that they were built only in 1965. My MM book doesnt say much about them nor give any pics of one. Thanks.

What would you like to know? We've got a G707 LP with the optional set back front axle. Smooth running and powerful tractor. Basically the same tractor as the earlier G705 with different rear fenders, grill and nose cone styling similar to the G1000 that replaced it. I believe it was still rated at 101 hp like the G705 where as the G1000 saw an increase to 110 hp. The G707 and G708 were the last of the big Molines made with a hand clutch. There were only 283 G707 LP produced in 1965 only.

I have a 705 diesel here in Scotland and spotted a 707 last year when visiting Canada. The only real differences I saw were the fenders and one ot two other detail changes, basically looked like the same tractor but addmittedly I only had a quick glance of it. I think I may have a picture somewhere if you are interested.

I'm sure there are much more knowledgable people on this site on the 707 but I'll contribute what I remember. The 707 replaced the 705 and had mostly engine changes on the order of the G1000. It was built only in standard tread. It was replaced by the G1000 Wheatland Which had the Ampli-torc and hydrostatic power steering. The 708 was a 707 with MFD. The 707 and 708 are pretty rare but any MM is rare compared to your favorite color of green.
