does anyone know of any companies that rebuild and regrind crankshafts? need to get one done.

There is a place in Waco Texas called "Crankshaft And Valve" that does very good work. I don't know the phone number for them off hand but have seen some of the work that they've done and it is tops.

I don't know what you want done.

There are shops that can build up worn crank journals and grind the shaft back to standard dia. if that is what you want. I had one rod journal done on an International UC-60 crank.

Carolina Crankshaft in Charlotte, NC is one example. They fixed my crank. There are probably shops in the major cities of your state as well.

Theoretically, it should be possible to have a worn crank built up and ground to an actual oversize so that the worn no longer available bearings could be re-used and fit up properly.

I can get one done for you, make it a stroker or just back to factory specs. Its kinda pricey and i dont know what the waiting list is. Place i go does it all in house from welding to finished product and its one guy, so quality control is very good. Just email me

Herschel-Adams out of Iowa offers reground cranks for a lot of old tractors. Any rebutable machine shop with a crank grinder could fix you up. Gessford Machine in Hastings, Nebraska is where we take ours. Good Luck.
