1945 MM UT?

MM guru's,

I am looking at a MM advertised as a 1945 UT but the serial number doesn't add up to what I see listed for the UT on the YT serial number register. Can anyone here help me with the correct ID of this tractor?

Here are the serial numbers on the ID plate: 557107F.

Also on the ID plate with the serial number is "1 1/4 X 5 4 CYL" and under "Model" it looks like KEF or KFF or KLF

Also cast somewhere on the engine is "UT-100D."

I am attaching a picture of the tractor also.

Skycarp, what you have provided is the serial number off the engine I.D. plate, but it is a relatively late 1945 engine, so the tractor is most likely a 1945. The UT-100D is a casting number off the transmission main case, which you need to be looking at the right hand side of to get the tractor serial number. Hope this helps.

BTW, it is a KEF engine.
