FTA (Transmission Breather?)

Been goofing around with my FTA I recently purchased. There is what looks like a old brass oiler that is piped into the top of the transmission, located just below the gas tank. Is it a breather for the transmission?
Also there are brass valves fitted into the blocks. I assume they are drains for the coolant?

I don"t have a manual for it yet and would just like some confirmation as to what these devices are for. Thanks again.

The old brass oiler is exactly that, I'm not sure what it exactly oils, but according to the operator's manual there should always be engine oil in it when doing belt work. You assume correctly on the brass valves on the blocks, they are the only way to get all of the coolant out of the blocks. Let me know if you need anything else.

I don't know for sure, but the GT tractors used a chain to sling oil up to the bearing on the clutch shaft. the chain appears to do nothing but go down into the oil and bring some of it back up to the bearing. Perhaps that oiler oils that bearing on your FTA.
