Hello everybody
Thanks for all the good help. so there is no kit for the TTX-36 right?

I havent emailed or called Matt Gall yet, but do you think he would have the pieces i need?

I have a newer carb off my 1952 U, but the load jet has been drilled huge, for Ethanol. dont think it will work with out a new jet.
However my old TTX-36 that is on my 39 U runs it just leaks gas everywhere and has sit so much that its all varnished up and just needs a good cleaning. Thats why i dont want to change my carb.
Thanks Everybody

The TSX-36 uses the popular TSX kit K7505 Zenith-Marvel Schebler number that cost about $22 with gaskets, needle seat kit, and air needle and spring. Float and other parts are separate or have to buy a complete overhaul kit. Any tractor supply place or NAPA should be able to supply the basic kit. K7505 and K7510 kits fit the majority of all TSX carbs made.

He has a TTX not a TSX. NAPA will not have a kit for your carb. Good luck trying to find one.

Well.... I looked for that but even the later Marvel Schebler catalog doesn't even list a TTX. Yeah the TSX-36 does fit a MM but the later RT tractors so too small. For hard to find kits try thecarburetorshop.com Zenith-Marvel Schebler can still sometimes supply parts for those older carbs too but it takes a while at times for a dealer or warehouse to order them in from factory because Zenith won't sell to you direct. Also try V.E. Petersen, Toledo Ohio, 1-800-537-6212

Yeah I messed up Mr. OOPS but why didn't you give him the replacement numbers for a U? Marvel Schebler TSX-67 or Zenith 14999 up to 1955 Us and 1955 and later used MS TSX-624 or Zenith 14999. Yes, the Zenith 14999 new carb is a universal replacement type.

2 ways to fix this: send it to Motec Engineering in Indiana-$75.00 complete rebuild or NAPA-Echlin kit # 2-1404
