I have an Oliver G1355. My Dad bought it new around 1970. It is an Oliver tractor with a 6 cylinder Minneapolis engine.

YES! MY FAMILY PURCHASED ONE NEW IN 1975.I BELIEVE AT THAT TIME IT WAS A CARRYOVER MODEL FROM 1974.WE RAN THE TRACTOR UNTIL 1984 WHEN WE TRADED IT OFF. OUR FARM WAS LOCATED NEAR COVINGTON,IN. THE TRACTOR WAS VERY RELIABLE AND WE HAD VERY LITTLE TROUBLE.IT DID HAVE ATENDANCY TO OVERHEAT WHEN WE PULLED IT HARD,BUT OTHERWISE IT WAS A GOOD MACHINE.

Here is a Red 2270 that was in the tractor photos.

All of these are the same tractor, just not the same paint scheme.

The green G 1355 is like someone else said. It will say Oliver G 1355 on the side and it is the same tractor as the yellow MM G 1355. That tractor was sold in Canada as the White 2270. That tractor was red in color and said White on the side. There might be a Cockshutt 2270 that was used to take pictures of for the parts book, but all production 2270's had the White name on the side and were painted red.

Now the real hard tractor to find is a green Oliver G 955. I have a friend that has one. It is the same as the yellow MM G 955 except for the color. The G 955 sold in Canada was called a White 1870 and was also painted red.

My neighbor had one for a few years. It was an Oliver 2155. He later traded it for a 2-150 White.

No, the 2155 Oliver was a G-1350 with a green paint job. It was a totally Moline tractor with green paint.

The G-1355 was an Oliver 2255 rear end with a 585 Moline engine and front end.

Two different tractors you are talking about here.

I actually have an Oliver 2055, that is a G-1050 Painted green. Again this is a totally Moline tractor and not a "crossover" half oliver half moline.

Doesn't it say Oliver on it somewhere ? there were also some yellow 1655 Olivers that said MM about '71-73 before they all became Whites.
