JUST BOUGHT M5, NEW TO MM. PTO LEVER DOESNT MOVE SEEMS TO BE IN REAR POSION BUT THE PTO DOESNT SHUT OFF. FORWARD ON REARWARD OFF?

Fwd is on back is off. They will creap because of no pto brake. If it does not stop under load then yes something has went amiss and you need to open it up

I just got mine unstuck on my jetstar. I had to remove the three point rock shaft and the rear end housing cover to get to mine. I found that it was stuck due to be stored for some time and moisture in the rear end had flashed keeping it stuck over center. These are pretty muck the same on the two tractors.
