I have a friend who says their M602 had square M670 style fenders when they brought it home from the dealer. Has anyone else ever seen this ? I thought the sq fender only came out when the 670 took over, but I have been wrong before

I have 2 602's, consecutive serial numbers,1 has M-5 style round & the other has the flat tops. These tractors were bought straight from the factory by Del Monte Foods. Evidently their buyers went to the factory, made their best deal,& took the next tractors off the line. They are twins except for the fenders. Both are LP, wide front, PS, set up for 3 pt,but no arms or links. I got the Del Monte sevice records with them. They bought thousands of Twin Citys & MMs over the years. Neither of these two were painted the correct color from the factory.

WOW! Now that's a nice pair of tractors to have and there service records as well. What a find that was. I have looked at lots of tractors hoping to find a consecutive tractor to one of my 5 stars.

The square fenders I rememer seeing were on 670's and 1000's but they could be easily changed around, So I wouldn't bet a 602 didn't come home from the dealer with square fenders.
