On the front wheel hubs on the ZTU's and the RTU's is a collar that slides over hub and holds in the felt seal and seal retainer. I drove them both off at tear down time, but now that every thing is nice and clean, they are loose. I was assuming they would just slide snugly back on. Should there be gasket or something between the collar and hub? What makes them stay on? Help. Jerry

Thanks for your response. As long as I know they are simply a friction fit, I will figure something out.

If there was much rust between them and the hub the rust may have stretched them some. You could glue them on with locktite or RTV.
