I recently bought a nice propane Mineapolis Moline M670 and need to haul or drive it to a different location. I may be way ahead to drive the tractor if it can get up to a decent MPH.

Hauling it will be extremely expensive as I will have to hire it done.

How fast does this model go in road gear?

I have a 66 670 Super and had a Raven GPs lightbar on it while spreading fert last year and it would run according to GPS speed right at 20. With 18.4-34 and 1800 RPM. How safe is it to turn these tractors RPM's up? Is there and issue as I road mine from field to field alot in the summer.

do you know tire size ? the books are rated at factory set engine RPM and 15.5 tires. Most of these tractors had 18.4-34 tires or even 16.9-38 and most diesels were running a few hundred R's over and then they would fly. Kept right up with the red tractors in the low to mid 20's. A gas can safely run 2200 R's and with tall rubber on a 670 you can crank it out ! small tires low R's 17-18 mph

I would say you will hit close to 20 depending on the tire size. We put deep lug 20.8x 38's on adiesel when we farmed with it on the muck at 2100 ( turned up ) rpm we exceeded 25 almost 26 so stock with even 18.4x34 I bet you could hit the 20 mark fairly easy

Just a guess based on a couple of Molines my brother has stored out at my place that we drive to the local shows.

The UTU he has will run just over 20mph, his JetStar 3 is about 18mph. I have an Oliver 1800 gas that will do 16mph, but that's pushing it.

I suspect you will be able to go about 15mph with ease, but it's possible you might get 18.
