why isn't someone making some MM medallions, steering wheels and caps for 1960's tractors whenever they sell on e-bay WOW ! any ideas on how one would start such a venture ?

I had looked in to doing just that one time at a local shop who would do small lots (less than 500pcs.) and the thing is you have to get the dies made ( around 3,000.00 )then stamp out 500 pcs.at aroud 30.00ea. then sell them for a average of 50.00 ea. for a total of 18,000.00 up front , then if you average 50.00ea.= 25,000.00 you can make 7,000.00 if you can wait till you sell all of them and have the up front money and can wait to get all your money back. translation= not to many people can dish out the start-up money and wait a couple years to get it back.
