u for $1500?

Found a U Minnie, propane, wide front, live hydraulics and loader. Has a hand clutch but it slips. What does it cost in parts to fix the clutch? Is $1500 out of line for the complete tractor? Says it runs good but I haven't seen or heard it yet. Thanks

i bought my 1953 U for 1200 and everything was fine on it the clutch didn't slip but it didn't fire right so i would say that 1500 is way high for it. But they are worth it in the end you will love it.

The clutch may just need adjusted. 1500.00 is a little high but it also depends on what you want to do with it. I saw a very good looking good running gas uts sell at Hawk Point Mo. this past Sunday and it brought 800.00 for it. I would say some where in the 1200.00 range at best.
