I have a 1955 UB Special gas and was wondering if anyone knows what the Fram or Wix #'s are for an oil filter? Also was wondering what the proper spark plugs are for it? The manuals I have for it give just about everything but the plugs. Thanks for your help.

I'm still trying to find cross reference #'s for the filters. Today I found 3 filters that were at an old hardware store near me that fit the UB Special. This hardware was next door to an old Moline dealership. The 3 that I found were a Baldwin filter, #T58-M. With this info I started looking and cross referencing and found a # for an AC Delco filter. The # for the AC is PF1722. I am still looking to see if anyone makes these. I am also wondering if a filter from a 5 Star will fit. They look almost identical. I have one coming tomorrow so that I can compare it with the Wix 51114. So the search continues. I will give you any results that I find, good or bad.

Just found out that Wix has obsoleted that part and has no replacement. The Moline part # is 10A6865.

That is the information that I have always been told; no body makes it any more.

The MM part number shows up on ebay once in a while.
