I have the chance to get a MM but the tag on the frame & the tag on engine is rusted where the numbers should be. I would like to know what it is and parts availabilty before getting as it is alittle rough.

Hi,

Can you read anything on the data plates? Such as the engine model, maybe? Or can you make out ANY of the numbers on the data plate? If so, please post here.

Otherwise, the best thing that I can suggest is you describe the tractor here. Rear tire sizes, type of front end, type of grille, hood style, and any other such features. Also, part numbers on items such as the transmission case and cylinder heads and blocks could be VERY helpful. Then maybe I or someone else can help you identify it.

If you have a scanner, then possibly the easiest way for someone to help you identify your tractor would be to have you e-mail me or them a picture of the tractor.

Hello

I am helping my dad and grandfather by getting them addresses and phone#'s for a mineapolis moline 5 star made in 1958. They have a question that I hope you can answer for me? They looked up the serial# and got 5 star 11200307 and it came back as 5 star (c1s) standerd gas and they was wanting to know what (C1S) stands for. If you could help me I would love it so much because I have looked everywhere for it and came up nothing. Would you reply asap PLEASE!!!!! !!!!! !!!!!
