I have got a set of GE 30 J heads, and I was wondering what newer head do these compare to. Some one on e-bay had a set and said they were the same as 10A4207. Is this true. Any info would really be appriciated.

Thanks

The 30J was the sea level propane head on the 283 engine it used 14mm spark plugs. It was just under 7 to 1 compression ratio. The 4207 was just over 9 to 1 ratio on the 283. Both came with hard seats for LP gas.
