I have an early Moline Plow ( pre MM I have been told ) Moline name is cast into trip mechanism, plow beams, and coulters. I would like to sandblast and paint it. Can anyone tell me correct paint color(s) and scheme

If it is a pre-MM plow I dont believe their would be any Prairie Gold paint on it. I think the Moline Plow Co. plows were all red,( possibly some black ) I do not know this for fact mind you, but most all the early MM plows were red with gold wheels as was stated.

I was going to vote with Alan that the Moline plow should be all red. But the illustration of the Moline Model D on page 12 of Minneapolis-Moline Tractors 1870-1969 shows the plow mounted to the tractor to be red and have yellow wheels.

Of course, an illustration may not be accurate to the actual item because it is an artist's work and was intended to create demand when selling stuff.

Most I've seen, restored or unrestored, have the tail wheel and the wheels Prairie Gold, the rest of the plow is red.

I am doing one right now, Just finishing up sandblasting and priming. Will be painting and assembling within the next couple of weeks. I have been told that the wheels, including the rear wheel assembly are Prairie Gold, with the framework and the rest an Implement Red. I have been told that the rolling cutters are prairie gold and red, so I don't know which is right there. Also, I don't know exactly where Prairie Gold stops and red starts. I will be anxious to hear responses also.

Forgot to mention this is a 2 bottom plow on steel wheels that I have. If there is any other information that is needed to help identify age and/or correct color please ask.
