How many U diesel industrials were made? There is one on Ebay with foot clutch. Possibly an experimental model?

This tractor being 1954 model was when Moline were changing from hand clutch to foot clutch as with UB models.Serial number data shows about 730 of this units were built in 1954. I believe this was just change over unit built at that time. Hope this helps. Phil

Most all industrials had foot clutches dosent have anything to do with a changover. The old U red nose ind had foot clutches the ZA industrials and rti i have seen all had them.

If you look at the auction listing its not an industrial. The serial number is for UTSD. I suspect someone converted it over to foot clutch sometime in its life with UB parts. I've never seen a factory UTS with foot clutch. Doesn't mean they didn't make one though. I'm well aware anything was possible from MM. Generally speaking only Industrial model U's had foot clutches prior to the UB model.
