What generator/alternator came with the RT364A M-M

Please help...I took an Autolite generator (alternator?) off my reciently purchased M-M, but I know nothing about it. Autolite.com has no answers.
1) Does anyone know what generator/alternator could work on this tractor?
2) The wheel that is suppose to spin when this Autolite is attached to the fan belt seems frozen...is there any use in trying to fix it?
3) Could someone please direct me to a website for parts for these tractors?
4) I would like to purchase a parts and a service manual for this RT364A...anyone have these for sale?

John,

Well first, the RT364A is just the number cast into the transmission cover, but it tells us you do have an RT tractor of some front end configuration. Look on the right side of the transmission case (just below the clutch lever pivot point) and you should find the serial plate, this will tell us what you have. There is also an engine serial plate on the right side of the engine. No auto, yet alone a tractor of an R's vintage had an alternator, they all use generators. The politically correct Delco-Remy generator for your tractor would be a 1101354 up to and thru 1948 and a 1101398 for 1949 on.
I personally think the best place to find the manuals (short of going to the M-M national conventions) is on ebay. I see nice originals sell all the time for less money then a funky new reprint. Hope this helps.
