A4T-1400 value?

There is an A4T-1400 coming up on an auction in a while that needs a fair amount of work to get it running, but it is pretty much all there. I'm sure the engine is probably stuck from sitting for so long and the interior is probably nothing left of it. I believe it was parked due to some hydraulic problems.

Any idea on what this might be worth? Thanks!

If the tractor has factory 3pt it will be a closed center hyd system which is much harder and exoensive to work on than the open center system on the bareback tractors w/o 3pt. If the 1400 still has the original 504 engine it will be less likely to have trans and drop box problems

Steven - Are you located in AZ? What part? I do not have a lot of experience with the A4T but I have been told you need to keep a close eye on the drop box components for excessive wear. The engine components will be common to other MM tractors with the 336/504 engine. Depending on the problem with the hydraulics, you may be able to get what you need from other MMs built during the same period.

I wish I could be more helpful. If yopu get it bought, I can try and help you locate the parts what you need to get it running again.

Good Luck!

It's coming up on an auction in ND - my Dad will be going to the auction to bid on it for me. I'd like to have a ballpark figure to give him. I know I won't let it go for less than $500 because I know it's a pretty rare tractor.

Thanks for the heads up on the drop box!

I'm in Bullhead City...
