Can someone tell me where to find the bearings on the fan of my UB? Part #s are TW2461 & TW2462..... .thanks for any help.

Sometimes we used a die grinder to weaken one wall of the bearing to get it out. I was always leery of heat wrenches in a precision bore.

I don't have the bearings out yet. I was wanting to get the replacements in my hand. You are correct about it being a 3 to 4 inch blind hole. Thanks for the reply.....I couldn't remember Welters

Tony, I am fairly certain that they are a standard roller bearing cup and cone. If you mike the O.D. of the cup (the ring) and I.D. of the cone to the nearest thousandth of an inch a bearing supply house should be able to fix you up. Or you can check with Welters in MO. 417-498-6496

O.K. - My question: How did you get the rear cup out of the housing, as it is in pretty much a blind hole about 3 or 4 inches deep?

There are notches in most of them to knock the race out, If not weld a bead around the race an let it cool the bead will draw it down and it will fall out. Or if your in a big hurray weld a washer across it and then you'll have something to knock out.
