I have a White 50 forklift. Tag on lift actually says model MY50 Type G Serial# 32200195.
I am looking for a fuel pump. Was wondering which engine this was and what else the engine may be in so I could possibly cross reference the fuel pump.

If all else fails, use an electric pump, unless you want it to be 100% when done. John

Say, John - know anyone who might be interested in restoring a cut-away display engine - not a
M-M but needs a good home, then be donated to a museum or show grounds. Maybe a 4-H or scouts or high school shop project. Dis-assemble, clean, paint and re-assemble. It is complete. 6-71M Detroit, so not too big to handle or haul - I saved it from the iron buyer.

Gabe, Is it an engine-mounted pump? Like maybe one that runs off the camshaft kinda like older cars used?

If its a MM engine, Most times MM put another tag on the engine itself. If its a 220 it will be on the crankcase below the carburetor.

I was thinking that some of the smaller MM forklifts used Continental or Hercules engines. If all else fails, post a Picture of the engine in the Help Identify.

It is an engine mounted pump. I will look for the tag on the engine. I was always under the impression that it was a Con engine also. Thanks for the info. I will let you know.
