Hi, Is it possible for a faulty water pump to leak water into the engine (oil)? This is a 1950 U (gas). Brian(MN)

Thanks, That is the first thing I will do. As soon as it warms up a bit outside I'll pull it into the shop.

Brian,
Yes, it should be the first place you look when finding water in your crankcase. Be sure the weep hole/slot on the bottom of the waterpump is open and not packed with grease/dirt. Replacing the water pump seal is cheaper than removing the heads to check for cracks so I'd start there.
