Well.... I can tell you a problem that I had. The diaphram in the regulator had sagged and the primer Button / Solenoid was missing the nubbin in the center of the diaphram.... And No Start when Cold. So I took one of the Leather snap button things and put it under the screw that held the diaphram together. this made a larger target. This was about 3 years ago and it still starts Fine...

I have a jetstar on lp I start when its cold, and it helps if you stick a trouble light or a heat light close to the regulator for a while to warm it up enough to vaporize the fuel.

Many LP carbs don't have a choke but some LP converters had a primer button or electric solenoid primer hooked to a dash mounted push button. The primer is your choke on LP for cold starting aid. You usually don't need the primer in warm weather. Have your spark plugs gapped down to .015-.018 ? That is recommended spark plug gap for most any and all LP engines and they will idle smoother too. You are only starting on vapor right?
