When I was growing up, back in the 60's, our neighbors farmed sugarcane and soybeans with MM's. Last ones they had were G705's. I knew where the IH, Ford, and JD dealers were, but I can't remeber ever seeing the MM dealer. Any way I can find info on this subject?

The main hub in Southern La was a dealership in Crowley, there was also a dealer in Abbeville. I am originally from Abbeville and grew up right down the road from the dealer. It was located at the end of Hwy. 167 in an old cinder block bldg. that is still there. Shipments would come by rail to Crowley and then were dispersed from there. Hope this helps!

I know the building you are talking about. I guess I will have to spend some time in that area asking around. I do a lot of business at Langlinais' Tractors (Ford-New Holland)in Abbeville, and maybe some of the old guys there would have more info.

From 1966-71 I used to work part time at the MM dealer at Milo,MO.Somewhere I have a list of all MM dealers that were located in the middle part of the country at that time.It showed their new inventory of tractors and combines..I'd love to find that list.
