What is an acurate weight of a MM GTA on rubber with no extra ballast added? Some of the books show it to be around 6,800 but that seems lite when you look at the tractor. Are my eyes deceiving me?

That should be correct.My book shows 6730 lbs.I used to own a GTA.

Just hauled 3 G's. I would guess 6,800 is about right for weight. They aren't as heavy as they look.

They must have used the special low density cast iron on those old girls. They sure look to weigh more than they do.
