Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but the mag mounts on the back of the timming cover, where the hyd pump would mount, the dist mounts on the top of that timming cover. If you look inside where the dist would mount and see a sprial cut gear, the dist will work there. If no sprial cut gear, you need to change the waterpump shaft or one with the cut gear.
