ZA soft plug

I have a MM ZA that a soft plug between the blocks is leaking. Is there a easy way to fix it or do I have to pull one block? And if I pull a block, can I unhook two rod bearings and pull that unit up with the pistons still in the block? Thanks for any thoughts.

You will have to pull the block to do it right and be able to get at it. Yes you can leave the rods in the block and pull it as a unit. Also while you are there you might as well replace all the freeze plugs in it and be done with that problem.
