Moline Wide Front -Identify?

I have a wide front for what I think is a RTI but my parts manual for an RTI gives a different casting or part number. The cast axle is marked with JT 1142 and the mounting block in the center is marked JT 1232. My manual say part numbers -JT 6142B and JT 1232A. The front axle on my 1948 RTI has no markings. My RTI also doesn't have a cast axle -looks more like a steel I-beam.

My RTI parts tractor has also got the same front axle. I think what it was is that MM was finding out the cast iron front axle where breaking all the time and they switched to the steel ones instead because of the fact that the steel ones where more forgiving and could stand up to the industrial wear and tear. If I remember correctly the cast iron front axles where really just inteaded for the RTS and ZTS tractors.
