We have a 335 on the farm that belonged to a deceased relative. I"ll end up restoring it and using it for utility work. Does this tractor have some sort of torque amplifier??? It has a lever on the right side of the dash that I can"t identify. Can someone help describe the drive line on this tractor??
Thanks.....

Colin

The lever on the right side controls the Ampli-Torc Clutch. Pushing it forward engages it. Adjust thru opening in side of transmission (right side & below lever). I bought a non-working 335, am restoring it now and that is what the shop manual says.

Sounds like you are describing a TA. Pushing it forward is high range and pulling it back is low. It should engage with a firm snap when you put it into high. If the tractors stops moving in low range and makes a high pitched sound, the roller clutch in the TA likely needs to be rebuilt.

The 335 is a great little tractor. You should have lots of fun with it.

Thanks for the clarification. I remember it being used to pull a baler at one time years ago, other than that, it's been sitting for 15 years now atleast.
