The first tractor I ever owned was a 445. My wife brought me for Christmas a nice running but rough looking 445 from some Amish friends for $1000. They will put the regular wheels back on. It has a narrow front but a friend of mine has a 4 star that had a fire, will the wide front switch? Also what should the 4 star be worth and will other parts switch? Thanks

The 4 star wide front will fit your 445. Almost all the parts from a 4 Star will fit your 445. Value of a burned 4 Star depends how badly burned it is and what is salvagable. If it was in a barn fire and is a total loss then couple hundred dollars or scrap rates at best. It's hard to put a value on a "parts" machine without knowing what shape its in.
