Hello and seasons greetings to all. my tractor is a 53 zas my problem is I have to have 3/4 choke and almost the same amount of throtle to get the tractor to move if it doesn't have these control settings and gently engage it will stall out. This is a new problem never behaved like this in last 7 years. Also happened to notice for the first time frosting on pipe neck leading out of carb going towards the engine. if important I am using an 86 octane fuel and the temperature has been in the low 40degree farhient range. Called carb iceing, common problem if its humid and is normal for a carb/manifold to do that when humid. Sounds like you also may have a problem with clogged filters or carb. If I where you I would open up the main jet a turn or so and see if that helps. Also pull the drain plug and make sure you have a good steady flow of gas.
